ATLANTE IMMATERIALE

Atlante Immateriale is an exhibition and a publication dedicated to the role of artisanship in contemporary society, its relations with design, and its repercussions on the ground. The exhibition shares Arte Povera’s primary values and visual principles, introducing new languages in using raw materials and objects from the production processes. Pure typography and black illustrations respond to the objects, forming a visual atlas of maps and codes to contextualize unfinished objects and enigmatic bodies. The catalog expands the narrative of each tool, fragment, and material, with annotated images balancing mythical storytelling and archival documentation.
