TOTAL PROFILE
Tech companies create user profiles with data gathered through their services, and though they sell part of this information, the collection of profiles is arguably their biggest asset. The General Data Protection Regulation allows users to access their own data, so in this project, I downloaded these unique assets from Google, Meta, and Amazon. These different text-based representations of myself are etched in plexiglass, and when a red light shines through them, they project an aggregate layer of information, creating a total profile for the first time.
